CARDIOTHORACIC SALES DIRECTOR,
Chicago, IL

Job Description:

 

The Arthrex Cardiothoracic Sales Director is responsible for leading/managing sales strategies and providing high level technical support to health care professionals and sales representatives. The Sales Director will be required to maintain expert knowledge of our market-leading product portfolio and effectively train and develop a sales team. The ideal candidate should have clinical experience in Cardiothoracic procedures and/or a minimum of 2 years clinical case support in Cardiothoracic fields.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

​

  • Represent Artemis Surgical, the exclusive agency authorized to sell Arthrex products in the Chicagoland area, Northwest Indiana, and West & North Michigan.  Arthrex is a world-class leader in the orthopedic industry.

  • Increase territory sales by building and maintaining strong business relationships.

  • Communicate with current and new customer accounts regarding a variety of topics, including product updates, changes to product portfolio, and educational programs.

  • Implement new sales plans and effective marketing strategies to position the organization competitively and to meet/exceed territory objectives.

  • Cross-sell additional products or manage new product introductions as they become available.

  • Support compliance and the principles of responsibility by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance, adhering to applicable federal, state, local laws, regulations, accreditation, and licensure requirements.

  • Maintain training in sales skills, product features/benefits, and other critical business applications.

  • Collect competitive data and remain current on industry, customer, and competitive trends.

  • Represent Artemis Surgical and Arthrex at various industry meetings, attend labs, and tradeshows.

Education & Experience:

​

  •  Bachelor’s degree required.

  •  Clinical experience in Cardiothoracic procedures and/or minimum of 2 years clinical case support in Cardiothoracic fields. 

  •  Proven sales success.

  •  Experience hosting labs and skills workshops.

  •  Management experience.

  • Must reside in the Chicagoland area.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
